When you’re creating an iOS app for the iTunes store, once an Adobe Digital Publishing Suite app has been built, downloaded, and tested, the final step in the app preparation process is to submit it to Apple.TFP_DPSPublish App Product Detail ImageBB

In the iTunes Connect portal, where downloaded apps are managed, the final version of an Adobe DPS app can be selected, and the Ready to Upload Binary option selected. Another dialog will open to confirm Export Compliance, then a dialog will confirm that the app is ready for upload.

After that, the Application Loader comes into play. The Application Loader is a tool from Apple that assists users in preparing and submitting apps to be sold in the App Store. Download the Application Loader by clicking on the URL provided in the dialog. Note: In the App Details screen, the status will be Waiting for Upload.

Follow the instructions in the Application Loader, as described below, to upload the app.

Upload an App to Application Loader

  1. Open the Application Loader.
  2. In the Choose an Activity window, select Deliver Your App.
  3. From the Choose pop-up menu, select the name of the application you want to upload.
