Where are the dollars being spent? Our infographic pick this week, brought to you by Direct Marketing News, shows 61% of respondents are increasing their paid media budgets, 67% are boosting owned media budgets, and a whopping 71% plan to spend more on earned media.

According to a report from Econsultancy and Oracle, more than 38% of overall marketing budgets will be spent on digital this year, with 79% of survey respondents saying they plan to increase their spending on digital marketing technology specifically this year.

Content marketing is another big area: 73% reported that they’re increasing that budget this year as well, accounting for 10% of the dedicated dollars, just behind paid search at 13%.
