2017 has been another year of significant growth for social and digital platforms, according to data from We Are Social and Hootsuite. As highlighted in this week’s infographic pick, it shows nearly 2.8 billion people—or 37% of the global population—use social media at least once a month. But for publishers and marketers developing content strategy, perhaps the key finding is that 91% of users now access those platforms via mobile devices.
