Here are some of the latest changes for people in media this past month:

  • Michael Calderone was named senior editor of The Hive, Vanity Fair’s business, tech and media vertical. He previously served as senior media reporter at Politico.
  • Dan Shine was named senior editor at Automotive News and oversees finance and insurance. He most recently served as director of communications and content editor at the William Davidson Institute.
  • Michael DeSenne has joined AARP as executive editor, digital news and content. He most recently held the position of executive editor of Kiplinger.com.
  • Kade Krichko was named editor in chief of The Ski Journal. Most recently, she served as a freelance journalist and photojournalist for Source Interlink Media.
  • Janet King was named VP of Research at Arizent. Most recently she served as senior director, market insights at HIMSS.
  • Penny Crosman was promoted to executive editor of technology at American Banker. Most recently she held the position of editor-at-large.
  • Jessica Sibley was promoted to chief revenue officer at Forbes. She previously held the position of chief sales officer.
  • Evi Heilbrunn was named associate general manager of Meredith’s Health & Parenting vertical. She most recently served as senior director of product management at Everyday Health Group.
  • Chris McIntosh was hired as publisher of Northshore and Northshore Home magazines. She previously held the position of president and publisher of Boston Business Journal.
  • Molly Baab was named chief product officer at Business.com. She most recently served as CMO at BookBub.
  • Jason Teebagy was named chief financial officer at Business.com. He most recently served as CFO of DN Tanks, a specialty construction company in Massachusetts.
  • Chris Cohen was named wellness editor at GQ. He previously served as senior editor for Saveur Magazine.
  • Joseph Hernandez was named research director at Bon Appétit. He previously served as the deputy editor of food and dining at the Chicago Tribune.
  • Alexandra White was named fashion director at ELLE. She previously served as the fashion director at Porter Magazine.
  • Rickie De Sole was promoted to executive fashion director at Vogue. He was previously head of fashion initiatives.
  • Jessica Leibman was promoted to global managing editor for Business Insider. She previously held the position of executive managing editor.
  • Edward Loh was named head of editorial for the MotorTrend Group. Most recently he was the editor in chief of MotorTrend magazine.
  • Mark Rechtin was promoted to editor in chief at MotorTrend magazine. He most recently served as an executive editor for the outlet.
  • Michael Floyd was named director of editorial operations for the entire MotorTrend Group. He was most recently the editor in chief of Automotive magazine.
  • James “Mac” Morrison was promoted to editor in chief at Automotive magazine. Most recently, he was the executive editor of the magazine.
  • Erik Johnson was named editor for all daily news output for MotorTrend and Automobile. Most recently, he was a senior digital editor at Automobile.
  • Sally Holmes was promoted to executive editor for print and online at Marie Claire. She was previously the digital director of Marie Claire.
  • Danielle McNally was promoted to deputy editor at Marie Claire. She was previously director of features and special projects of MarieClaire.com.
  • Carl Kelsch was promoted to deputy managing editor at Marie Claire. His previous position was Marie Claire’s assistant managing editor.
  • Meaghan Murphy was named content director at Woman’s Day. She most recently served as an executive editor for Good Housekeeping.
  • Joe Brown was named group editorial director of Hearst Autos division. He previously served as editor-in-chief of Popular Science.
  • Lynn Schlesinger was promoted to chief marketing officer at Forbes. Her previous position was group VP, brand and demand marketing.
  • Alicia Hallett-Chan was named design director across print and digital at Forbes. She most recently served as creative director at The New York Times’ T Brand Studio.
