Here are some of the latest changes for people in media this past month:

  • Meghann Foye was named Parade.com’s digital content director. Foye recently served as the acting editor-in-chief of Working Mother magazine.
  • Nicole Fritton the former fashion director at Harper’s Bazaar, has been named executive fashion director.
  • Miguel Enamorado is the new fashion director at Harper’s Bazaar. Enamorado most recently held the same role at Interview magazine.
  • Mobolaji Dawodu was appointed as the new fashion director for GQ, with fashion oversight for both GQ and GQ Style. Dawodu previously served as the style editor-at-large for The Fader
  • Matt Thompson has been appointed editor in chief of The Center for Investigative Reporting. Thompson is currently the executive editor of The Atlantic.
  • Pam Fine has been named editor at The Chronicle of Higher Education. Fine has previously worked as the managing editor of the Minneapolis Star Tribune and the Indianapolis Star, and most recently served as a professor at the University of Kansas.
  • Kerry Lauerman is taking on the role of executive editor of news for Forbes and will be based in New York. He is the former executive editor at Mic.com
  • Tom Curtin has been named publisher at Crain’s New York Business. He most recently served as publisher for NJ Biz.
  • Amanda Hale, was appointed publisher at Gawker. In the past, she has held executive positions for The Outline, The Nation, and with TPM Media, LLC.
  • Vik Jolly has been named editor in chief of the San Diego Business Journal. Jolly had been serving as interim editor in chief and managing editor for the magazine.
  • Maer Roshan has been named editor in chief of Los Angeles Magazine. Maer has previously held the position of editor in chief at RadarOnline.com, TheFix.com, and NYQ.
  • Jessica Kantor has been named the first editor in chief of LALA Magazine. Most recently, she was the west coast editor for Glamour, and also held editor positions with Vogue and Glamour.
  • Gregory Huang has been named editor in chief of Xconomy. He has been with Xconomy since 2008 as deputy editor and was a features editor at New Scientist magazine before that.
  • Sean Giancola will become publisher and CEO of the NY Post. Giancola is currently the chief revenue officer and has been with the NY Post since 2015.
  • Michelle Gotthelf has been named digital editor in chief of the NY Post. She is a veteran journalist at the NY Post and has been on staff since 2000. Her most recent role was metro editor, a position she has held since 2007.
  • Nancy Berger will take over as publisher of CosmopolitanWomen’s Health, and Seventeen. She was most recently the vice president/publisher and chief revenue officer of Marie Claire.
  • Blair Hecht was named publisher of Marie Claire. She was most recently the associate publisher of Elle, and before that worked for Teen Vogue and Allure.
  • Kevin O’Malley, the current SVP and publishing director/CRO of Elle, will add Marie Claire to his responsibilities. He has been with Hearst since 2003.
  • Kathy O’Hearn is the new executive producer of Washington Post Live. She was previously the chief development and communications officer for Vital Voices Global Partnership.
  • Whembley Sewell has been named executive editor of the online LGBTQ platform, Them. She has been with Condé Nast since 2017 and most recently served as the channel manager for Teen Vogue.
  • Booth Moore has been named WWD executive editor, West Coast. She is the former fashion director of The Hollywood Reporter, and the first fashion critic of the Los Angeles Times, a position she held for 18 years.
  • Nicole Fritton has been promoted to executive fashion director for Harper’s Bazaar. She has spent the last decade as a fashion director at the magazine.
