Jean JenningsAutomobile Magazine’s President and Editor in Chief, Jean Jennings, has launched a website called JeanKnowsCars.com to help demystify auto repair, especially for women. As a female EIC for a magazine that covers a traditionally male-dominated field, Jennings is helping to shake up stereotypes and empower women by serving as a role model.

Jennings has been writing about cars for more than 30 years. She has also been a Yellow Cab owner/operator, and a test driver, welder, and mechanic for Chrysler. After subsequently joining Car and Driver magazine as a writer, she established Automobile Magazine with David E. Davis Jr. in 1985.

Technology for Publishing’s Women in Media blog highlights the news and achievements of female leaders and role models in the publishing and media industry.
