Adobe Digital Publishing Suite v32.3, released Nov. 10, includes the following updates and bug fixes for iOS viewers, as listed on Adobe’s DPS Bug Fix Release Notes page:
DPS App Builder support for Windows apps
The Web-based DPS App Builder now offers Windows as a platform option. See Adobe’s Building DPS Apps for Windows Store page.
iOS viewer
- Apps launched in landscape mode with the device in portrait orientation no longer flash the portrait splash screen.
- The splash screen no longer shifts down before fading away at launch.
- After shutting down an app, custom folio navigation icons now appear when relaunched.
- Users logged into a direct entitlement account can now preview an article from a URL.
- iTunes purchases on a device will no longer remain entitled to a different iTunes user after restoring purchases.
- Bottom navigation bars no longer appear slightly above the bottom of the screen if launching into folio view.
- Pricing strings no longer appear for purchased and downloaded folios after scrolling up and down in the iPhone library.
- When using Adobe Content Viewer to preview content from Adobe Experience Manager, the viewer now returns all applicable AEM renditions for the folio.
- The “Installing” message no longer appears in an iPhone library after a download is finished.
Android viewer
- Android viewer fixes will be included in the next hot fix or release.
