Ready, set, write. As this week’s infographic from Bloomfire points out, Bill Gates was spot on with his 1990s “Content Is King” article. Yet in 2015, many organizations are still struggling to find the key to content success. What are they missing? A culture of content, our pick says, describing it as an environment where, in the words of MarketingProfs‘ Ann Handley, “everyone writes,” not just those in marketing.

There’s indeed no question that knowledge sharing—both internal and external—is critical in today’s business world. But Bloomfire’s survey found that 69% of respondents see lack of time as their biggest challenge, and one in two have a hard time producing enough content to achieve their target audience objectives, meaning organizations may need a more integrated strategy.
