Building Adobe Digital Publishing Solution apps requires the creation of a variety of image files that are used for app icons and launch screens for iOS, Android, and Windows devices. This could be a time-consuming task, given all the specific size requirements for each type of icon and for each platform. Thankfully there is an Adobe Photoshop CC template that utilizes the application’s Generator feature and Smart Objects to help automate the creation of all these required app assets.

This template helps you create the required icon and launch screen artwork for each platform, and then organize them into folders. If the icon image requires any edits, the changes will be automatically applied to all the related icons.

Check out Adobe’s Working with the DPS Asset Generator help page for instructions on how to use this powerful (and fun) template and to download the template file.
