What’s hot? Marketers looking to engage with online audiences are loving paid social media advertising, with budgets projected to grow to $19.8 billion by year’s end and $24.2 billion by 2016.

According to this week’s infographic from social marketing firm MyClever, Facebook is taking in 75% of that spending, putting it far ahead of Twitter at 8%. Instagram, Pinterest, and SnapChat are all developing paid ad models as well, with Instagram emerging as an engagement engine and Pinterest focusing on e-commerce. Meanwhile, Snapchat is attracting large numbers of young mobile users.
