Picture your success. Here’s something for all the content marketers out there: a helpful guide to advertising on Instagram, including a breakdown of demographics and use, top objectives, and creative requirements. With monthly active users jumping from 300 million to more than 400 million in the past year alone, the social app is fast becoming a global advertising player, as our Infographic Pick of the Week from Salesforce shows.

Keep in mind that Instagram is a visual platform, meaning specifications are important. For example, Salesforce recommends images with a minimum of 1080 x 1080 pixels, or 600 x 315 for landscape, and videos with a resolution of at least 720 pixels. Also, take advantage of filters to improve the artistic quality of your photos and videos, and make sure they convey a story to your audience, it says.

For all the details, see The Complete Guide to Advertising on Instagram, posted on Social Times’ site.
