The latest version of InDesign includes performance improvements made to the Hyperlinks panel. This is great news for anyone who is working with documents that contain multiple hyperlinks. When documents containing hyperlinks with destinations in other documents are opened, InDesign runs a check of the linked documents by opening them in the background. In previous versions, if you were working with a long document with many hyperlinks, simple operations like opening the Hyperlinks panel, scrolling through it, and editing hyperlinks were very slow.

An improved algorithm for this process has made it much more efficient than in previous InDesign versions.
