The future is now

If you think human-machine collaboration is a thing of the future, think again. According to this week’s infographic pick from Accenture, in just five years, tech advances such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things “will require more than half of the workforce to learn new skills.” In the next two years, 95% of new electronics will incorporate IoT technology and more than 50% of Internet traffic will be driven by these devices, it says.

Add to that a rapidly increasing volume of programmatic content and a push toward more “intelligent” advertising spend and it’s clear the media industry faces more disruption ahead.
