Here are some of the latest changes for people in media this past month:

  • Stuart Emmrich was named digital news editor at Vogue. He previously served as assistant managing editor for lifestyle at the Los Angeles Times.
  • Tiffany Reid was named fashion director for the lifestyle collection of Bustle Digital Group. She previously served as the style director of the Hearst Women’s Fashion Group.
  • Jermaine Hall is the editor in chief of LEVEL, a new culture and lifestyle publication. He was most recently the VP and managing editor of digital at BET.
  • Peter Rubin is executive editor of LEVEL. He previously served as a senior editor and wrote features for WIRED.
  • Kristen O’Hara was named senior vice president and chief business officer for Hearst Magazines. She previously served as VP of global business solutions at Snap Inc.
  • Indira Lakshmanan was named senior executive editor at National Geographic. Most recently she was executive editor of the nonprofit Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, which partners with National Geographic.
  • Kate Kelly Smith has been appointed executive VP and managing director of Luxe Interiors + Design and chief sales officer for parent company Sandow’s design media brands. She previously served as SVP and publishing director for Hearst Magazines’ Design Group.
  • Sanjay Bhakta was appointed the role of chief product and technology officer for Condé Nast. He previously served as SVP of global platform and product engineering at Pearson.
  • Kayla Webley Adler is now deputy editor at Elle. She previously served as features director for Marie Claire.
  • Samantha Reed was promoted to senior editor at InStyle. She was most recently a senior news editor for the magazine.
  • Bob Cohn was named president and managing director for The Economist. He most recently served as president of The Atlantic.
  • Alan Kline was promoted to editor-in-chief of American Banker. He previously served as senior editor for the SourceMedia publication.
  • Diane Anderson-Minshall was named CEO of Pride Media. She most recently served as editorial director for The Advocate.
  • Ernesto Burden has been named a VP at Yankee Publishing and publisher at its subsidiary, McLean Communications. He previously served as VP of digital for Newspapers of New England and general manager of the Concord Monitor.
  • Nina Gould was named chief product officer of Forbes. She is the former VP of product.
  • Vadim Supitskiy was named chief technology officer of Forbes. He is the former SVP, engineering.
  • Marissa O’Hare was named general manager of Entertainment Weekly. She most recently served as SVP of digital strategy for the New York Post.
  • Miranda Van Gelder was named executive editor of Parents. She previously served as special projects director for Family Circle.
  • Tiffany Reid is the new fashion director for Bustle Digital Group’s (BDG) lifestyle collection. She previously served as the style director for the Hearst Women’s Fashion Group.
  • Scott Omelianuk was named editor-in-chief of Inc. He most recently served as entrepreneur in residence at the Stevens Venture Center.
  • Lori Collier Waran was named VP of sales and marketing of Virginia Business magazine. She previously served as publisher of Richmond’s Style Weekly magazine.
  • Miranda Van Gelder was named executive editor of Parents magazine. She most recently served as special projects director for Family Circle.
